Overall the condition of the bronze is very good with some minor dirt and wear to the patina, consistent with age.

Catalogue Note

Adolf Brütt studied at the Berlin Academy before moving to Munich where he became part of the Munich Secession. Brütt won a gold medal in the Paris Exposition Universelle of 1900. A larger bronze version of his Schwerttänzerin is in the Kiel Rathaus.
