A French Louis XV-style boulle bracket clock and a cartel clock

26-cm twenty-five piece dial with cartouche Roman numerals, countwheel gong striking Mougin movement with Brocot escapement and sunburst pendulum, waisted boulle inlaid case with foliate gilt bronze mounts together with a matching ogee bracket, together with a gilt bronze cartel clock with countwheel bell striking movement surmounted by Cupid in a sunburst and two figures personifying Dusk 

Bracket clock; dial a little tarnished but in good condition; should clean up nicely, movement able to function but very dirty and in need of a good cleaning, case wth nice bronzes and the boulle work in original condition, the bracket with a few pieces of brass of the boullework coming loose, together with a pendulum. Cartel clock; dial and hands in good condition, movement able to function just a little dirty, case recently cleaned, the gilding possibly redone, together with a pendulum
