A South Netherlandish parcel-gilt and polychrome painted oak relief of The Lamentation late Gothic, first half 16th century

Depicting the grieving Virgin seated, Christ laying in front of her, on an integrally carved stepped base. Overall with losses to the polychromy, with later base, relief possibly decreased in size, small loss to the right thumb of Christ.
