Description

  • crossed swords makes in underglaze blue, incised numerals 2863. and 2838., impressed numerals 68 and 149, painters mark red 8
  • centrepieces: 18cm. high, 31cm. long; the candelabra: 47.5cm. high.

Condition

Both centrepieces in overall good condition, few very minor glaze chips. Both with minor chips to the flower encrustation. Centrepiece with lady with small restoration to the upper rim and related small hairline crack (circa 2cm. long), the rim partly overpainted. Centrepiece with lady with one small hairline crack running down from the rim (circa 2cm.). Both candelabra with few minor chips (especially to the flower encrustation), one with central nozzle loose. One leaf-shaped drip-pan restored and partly overpainted (hardly visible due to elaborate detail).
