Condition
Both late Gothic lions are in overall good condition consistent with age. There are the inevitable minor dents, marks and scratches and some minor losses to the bronze. Both lions are pierced to the back where originally a joint would have been. There is some verdigris to the largest lion, especially to the underside, and some related imperfections and restorations. There are three nail heads visible at the chest of the lion. There is a larger scratch to the chest of the second lion, some traces of polychromy and minor verdigris.
The smallest lion is of later date, there is some minor rubbing to the patination, it is pierced to the back, and the right ear is partly missing.
