the moulded body with shell decorated buttresses and stylized mask handles, together with a similar South French (Le Puy), late Gothic bronze mortar decorated with Gothic minuscules

Both with some minor dents, marks, scratches and wear to the surface. The smaller with one ornament pierced, minor typical casting falws. The larger with some larger dents to the rim. One casting flaw above one of the handles, some casting flaws to the underside.
