embossed with acanthus leaves and vacant ovals, matching later cover, gilt interior, maker's mark struck four times at the outer rim of base
Condition
The standing cup overall with small scratches and tiny dents of use, gilding overall good but probably later, the cover reshaped overall, and now with a hammered surface, two old repairs in the middle of cover.
