- communion rail: 80cm. high, 250cm. wide, 55cm. deep; praying-stool: 76cm. high, 89cm. wide, 66cm. deep.; confessional: 146cm. high, 65cm. wide, 67cm. deep.
together with an oak and walnut praying-stool, and an oak confessional, 18th century
Provenance
Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis, Mechelen.
Condition
All three objects in overall good condition with some minor dents, marks and scratches.
Communion rail: One bracket ornament lacking. Five legs with losses to the balusters. Horizontal dryness crack to the lower board. Traces of old woodworming and related losses to the feet.
Praying stool: Traces of old woodworming and related small wood losses, especially to the feet. Small woodloss to th top. Stretchers probably associated.
Confessional: Consoles probably associated. Minor traces of old woodworm especially to the base (related small losses).
