  • 35cm. high.
finely cast and chiselled, good patination, modelled with the reliefs of Saint Martin and a dragon, with Dimphna-penning and the coats-of-arms of the city of Geel, inscribed Maria

Condition

In overall good condition with the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and wear to the patination due to age and use. One fissure to the bronze running upwars from the lower rim (circa 10cm. long). Some frits and one chip (circa 1 by 1.5cm.) to the lower rim. Minor surface soiling and traces of polycromy to the crown. Together with later holder, wanting clapper.
