Description
- crossed swords marks in underglaze blue
- centre piece overall 54cm. high.
together with a smaller pair of figural centre pieces, and a pair of four-light flower encrusted candelabra, circa 1880
Condition
The centre piece and matched candlesticks in overall good condition with some minor rubbing to the gilding. Some small chips to the flower encrustation, the putti's hands, feet and attributes.
The smaller pair of centre pieces: both hands of gentleman and his left foot restored and partly overpainted. The lady's left foor restored.
The four-light candelabra: small chips to the raised parts of the decoration, one holder of candlearms lightly loose in its joint, one four-branch candlearm with partly overpained restorations.
