Description

  • crossed swords marks in underglaze blue, various incised and impressed numerals
  • largest: 21cm. high.
comprising: a Marcolini allegorical male figure and a 'Punktzeit' allegorical female figure of autumn, last quarter 18th century, an allegorical figure of winter, circa 1880, two figures of putti, circa 1880, and a salt cellar applied with female heads, last quarter 18th century

Condition

Allegories of autumn and winter: in overall good condition with minor chips to the raised parts. Remnants of glue to the underside of both autumn figures. The putti both in overall good condition, the smaller with sting of bow partly missing. The salt cellar in overall good condition with minor rubbing to giliding and painting and few tiny chips.
