Description

  • cup and saucer: crossed swords marks in underglaze blue, with painted gold mark 42.; dish: crossed swords, dot and K mark in underglaze blue, impressed 13, painted gold mark 464.

  • cup: 7cm. high, saucer: 13.5cm. diameter, dish: 22.5cm. diameter.
the cup and saucer polychrome painted with 'Kauffahrtei' scenes within later gilt cartouches, the dish polychrome and gilt painted with indianische Blumen reserved within shaped cartouches against a light-blue ground, signed Kletschmarrestored

Condition

The cup and saucer: in overall good condition with very minor wear to the gilding and minor light surface scratching; the dish: minor wear to gilding and polychromy, very light surface scratching, impurities to the glaze due to manufacturing, the rim with restoration (circa 13cm. long), hardly visible to the front due to elaborate detail.
