Le fût en bois noueux, de section légèrement évasée, s'achève par une poignée finement sculptée en forme d'animal vorace – probablement un loup : gueule entrouverte laissant apparaître l'extrémité de la langue, museau bulbeux, oreilles repliées vers l'arrière. Belle patine brune, profonde.
