together with autograph letter signed of presentation to Miss Aubin noting that the Rackhams were "both down with flu" and stating "we sent out no Xmas cards this year. Work pressed just when I ought to have seen to them - ending in some very hurried work for the theatre which left me not one minute for myself till the curtain went up on Boxing Day...", 1 page, 4to, Stilegate, Limpsfield, 30 December 1933). Rackham's reference is to his designs for costumes, scenery and drop curtains for a production of Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel at the Cambridge Theatre.
