Catalogue Note
War Speeches 1940-1945 (not to be confused with the War Speeches of 1952) is uncommon. Conquer we Shall was Churchill's first broadcast address as Prime Minister, first published in periodical form in The Listener of 23 May 1940 under the title "Be Ye Men of Valour".
