Catalogue Note

King Arthur and His Knights was the fifth volume in "The Riverside Series".

It appears that the original editions of the "Riverside" and "Golden Readers" series were issued in wrappers printed in red and black only. Coloured wrappers were presumably produced for later editions using internal illustrations and may not have been drawn by the artists themselves.
