This copy is Prokosch's, also with his notes on front endpaper: "(With an original color drawing by F. P.)" and "Printed in Florence, Italy in November, 1935. F.P."  The total edition comprised twenty-two copies for the author, made up of five copies bound in Sicily paper numbered 1-5, five bound in Sardinia, numbered I-V, five bound in Abruzzo, numbered a-e, five bound in Umbria, numbered A-E, and two bound in Marche, numbered X and XX. This is a "special copy in Tuscany", recorded as such by Prokosch on the colophon, and signed by him in red beneath.

Leda and the Swan was printed in Florence in 1937, but not bound and distributed until ten years later when Prokosch returned to the city and recovered his printed sheets and paper. Yeats signed no copies of this book, having died in 1939. "Leda and the Swan" was first printed in The Dial in June, 1924 and reprinted in To-Morrow, Dublin in August 1924 (Wade 382). First collected in The Cat in the Moon (Wade 145) in 1924.
