a fine set of the monthly broadsides, printed by Farncombe and Son Printers for Elkin Mathews. Each number features two or more hand-coloured illustrations mostly by Jack B. Yeats.
The 1903 numbers include the first publication of W.B. Yeats' 'The Song of Red Hanrahan' (here untitled) in April 1903 [see Wade p.335] and the first appearance in print of John Masefield's 'Cargoes' in May 1903 [Errington C035.003]
