Prince Albert, in his Robes as Chancellor of the University of Cambridge", title on upper wrapper, text throughout set within heavy decorative boarder, printed in crimson, blue, and gold, original white glazed paper wrappers, printed in gold.

Catalogue Note
There is a very rare privately issued unillustrated and decorated version of this poem printed by Cambridge University Press, known in five or six copies only. The Ode was sung at Cambridge on 6th July 1847. The verses were probably the combined work of Edward Quillinan and Christopher Wordsworth (son-in-law and nephew, respectively), although Wordsworth clearly had a hand in the final product, which was very well received by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
