Catalogue Note
This drawing was created around 1996 as the final design for a wall mural of Wild Thing characters for Sony's "Metreon" entertainment shopping centers in San Francisco and Tokyo. The actual wall mural was created by Sony artists based upon this conceptual drawing. The centers opened in 1997 and the Sendak areas have since closed.
