a fine set of pullman's trilogy. There is no Carnegie Medal sticker laid down to the dust-jacket of the first volume. This is not an issue point - after the author won the Carnegie prize (awarded in 1996) unsold stock at the publishers had the sticker added. The film adaptation of the first novel was released in December 2007 (as The Golden Compass).
