Catalogue Note

Individual items were available from the large tea set so that an owner could assemble their own selection. It is rare to see items from Grimwade's offered for sale at auction. The Doris Frohnsdorff Collection (Christie's New York, 16 April 1997) offered a porringer and milk jug (lot 202) which realised $2400.
