Condition
Photograph: Please note that the catalogue illustration is slightly cropped in the lower edge, the original work is longer of approximately 2 mm.
Colours: The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. The background sheet tends towards a vibrant beige in the original.
Condition: This work is in excellent condition. The collage of the photograph reveals upon close inspection 5 slight air bubbles (above the right part of the wrapped Reichstag ; between approximately 1 and 2.5 cm each), which would appear inherent to the artist's working process. The box of Plexiglas is slightly scratched. No trace of restoration is visible under ultraviolet light.
