Condition
Canvas has a vertical tear approx. 1 inch in length lower center in first two lines of text. Tear has been glued with a very strong fixative. After examination by a professional conservator, it was determined by the conservator that the fixative can not be reversed since it is so strongly adhered to the edges of the tear.
Scattered areas of pigment separation in some of the text and other lighter colors. Some scattered spots of surface dirt and other accretions.
