Condition

Unframed. In good condition aside from dust and dirt in the crevices. Small scratch and indentation to backing board lower left below case. Small chips to paint at bolt connecting case to board upper center by tuning keys. Paint cracked lower right where violins is attached to case and area of cracquelure along bottom. Paint cracked at top buckle on the right. Violin piece protruding from the case is loose from its glue mount. Inscription VERSO reads: Madison/Arman Monte Carlo. Madison inscribed a second time.
