Condition

This work is in very good condition overall. The paper support consists of two sheets secured by vertical strips of clear tape at top and bottom (10" and 9" in length). The left and right edges of the sheets are uneven inherent to their manufacture. The faint smudges scattered primarily around the design are inherent to the artist's working method. There is a very faint handling ¾ " crease located 4 inches from the top and 16 from the right edge. Each of the three collage elements are secured by clear tape. The right edges and half of the bottom edge of the left collage are slightly lifted, causing hairline cracks in the overlaying pigment. The surrounding pigment remains secure. The paper is hinged at intervals to a ragboard mount and is framed in painted white wood under Plexiglas.
