Condition

This work is in very good condition overall and is framed in a wood strip frame. There are faint diagonal cracks primarily in the ground layer located in the upper right corner and 2 soft dimples to the canvas, located 3 in. and 3 ¼ in. from the top and 1 7/8 in. from the right. In the upper right quadrant there are slight stable vertical hairline cracks located in the green paint 8 – 12 in. from the top and 1 ½ in. from the right associated with the stretcher bar. There are very slight undulations to the unprimed canvas overall. In some areas of heaviest impasto there is evidence of cracking. Areas of note with slight cupping and planar distortion are located as follows: 6 – 12 in. from the right and 22 ½ - 26 ½ in. from the top, 11 ½ - 15 ½ in. from the left and 25 ¾ - 27 ¾ in. from the top, 4 ¾ - 7 ¼ in. from the left and 29 ½ - 31 ¼ in. from the top, 7 ½ - 9 ½ in. from the left and 19 ¾ - 21 in. from the bottom. All cracking is stable with no signs of insecurity. Under UV there are no apparent restorations
