Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the pinks are slightly softer in tone in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a slight mottled effect to the black painted area towards the bottom centre. There is a very faint horizontal rub mark beneath the gold bucket towards the lower edge and another thin curved rub mark at the centre of the bottom edge. Examined under ultraviolet light there are two small spots of restoration along the extreme top edge: one towards the upper left corner and one towards the upper right corner. There are several thin lines of restoration along the extreme bottom right edge and to the lower left edge.
