Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the white background is creamier in tone and the reds tend towards raspberry while the orange is more flame-red in the original. The catalogue illustration fails to convey the rich texture of the paint and areas of heavy impasto in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a paint loss to the area of impasto towards the centre right edge. There is a very minor horizontal indentation to the canvas along the top edge towards the top left corner. There is a very small chip to the spot of red paint in the lower left corner and very faint discolouration at intervals along all four edges where it appears to previously have been framed. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
