Condition

This work is in fairly good condition overall. There is pronounced mat burn around all four edges, only slightly visible along the lower edge when framed. There is an area of water damage in the lower-right quadrant. A series of black scuffs and surface abrasions are evident in the the text. The paper would benefit from cleaning and securing of the gold leaf. Cornered onto the mat and framed under Plexiglas in a wood frame.
