Condition
i: This work is in very good condition overall. The top layer of the paper in the extreme upper-left corner has been abraded slightly. The edge of the collaged map is lifting slightly on the right side. There are some isolated areas of excess adhesive at the edges of the map which have discolored with age. There is some evidence of wear to the Plexiglas frame with scattered soft abrasions visible throughout the surface.
ii: This work is in very good condition overall. The sheet is clean and intact. There is some minor evidence of lifting at the edges of the umbrella located 7 in. from the top edge and 5 ΒΌ in. from the left edge, but the collaged elements are otherwise stable and secure. There is some accumulation of crayon and pastel dust observable on the surface which is inherent to the artist's working method. There is some evidence of wear to the Plexiglas frame with scattered soft abrasions visible throughout the surface.
