Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of craquelure and related spot paint loss throughout the composition, notably at the edges and in the white painted areas. There is an impact impression with related paint loss located along the bottom edge, approximately 29 ¾ in. from the left edge. There is a 15 ½ in. area of liquid accretions located 20 ½ in. from the left edge and 20 in. from the top edge. The surface is slightly soiled. There is an 8 in. irregularly shaped area located approximately 14 ¾ in. from the right edge and 3 ½ in. from the top which fluoresces white under UV light, but which does not appear to be inpainting. This work is framed.
