The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is brighter and much more vibrant in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is light wear scattered in places along the extreme edges of the composition, most notably at the corners. There are minute stable drying cracks to some of the purple dots, which are only visible upon very close inspection. There is a tiny brown media accretion 2cm beneath the centre of the top edge and a further minute white media accretion to the centre of the extreme right edge. There is no retouching apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
