Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more lively in the original, with the flesh tones tending more to baby pink. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are some small circular stains scattered in a horizontal band across the lower centre of the composition, particularly visible to the central and pink passages. There are a number of irregularities to the work's surface, all inherent to the artist's chosen medium and working process.
