Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background tends more to metallic silver in the original and the character's outfit tends more to deep blue. There is a bi-colour pink pattern to the main mushroom which is not visible in the catalogue illustration (similar to the one present on the left hand mushroom). Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some very light wear to the upper right corner. In places around the edges of the composition, there are several tiny bumps to the surface resulting from nail heads underneath the canvas. This is original to the work's execution and inherent to the artist's working process. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
