Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the contrasts are sharper and the paper tonality turns more towards white in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is a light undulation to the sheet. There is an extremely faint pinprick-sized yellow bump to the bottom right quadrant, approximately 15cm. in from the extreme right and bottom edges, as well a minute spot of foxing in the bottom left quadrant, approximately 10cm. in from the extreme corner tip. There are two extremely faint traces of discolouration caused by ageing of the paper noticeable upon very close inspection to the top extreme edge, right of centre. Some minute traces of skinning can be noticed in a few scattered places to the white paper which are original to the work and inherent to the artist's working process.
