Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and richer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is very minor wear to all four extreme corner tips. There are several tiny ochre coloured spots of discolouration in the upper centre of the composition. There are two very faint and small rub marks 5cm in from the centre of the right edge. There is a further rub mark resulting in tiny specks of paint loss 5 cm to the left of the yellow traffic light in the centre of the composition. There is a finger mark 20cm above the lower right corner. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals some small specks of retouching to the ochre spots in the upper right quadrant, two thin lines of retouching to the upper left corner, a small patch beneath the red square in the left of the composition and along the centre right of the bottom edge of the composition.
