Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is much richer in the original, with the foil tending more to true metallic silver, and the blue stripe more to electric cobalt. The catalogue illustration fails to fully convey the reflective surface of the medium and the detailed texture that characterise this piece.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are irregularities and small losses to the foil throughout, all of which would appear to be inherent to the artist's chosen media and working process.
