The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is much brighter and more vibrant in the original, with the blue/black paint tending more towards royal blue in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are a few light paper creases, only visible upon close inspection. The paper is lifting slightly towards the bottom of the white painted area towards the top edge where the two sheets of paper adjoin and the tape towards the centre of the bottom edge has come unstuck where the two sheets adjoin. There are networks of very fine and stable drying cracks to some of the navy blue painted areas and some paint shrinkage to some of the areas of white paint.
