Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although there is a slightly more yellow tone overall in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The rub marks running along the extreme edges are original to the work's execution. There are some hairline tension cracks along all four extreme outer edges and very fine craquelure to the resin in places throughout the composition, inherent to the artist's choice of medium and only visible on close inspection. The craquelure is slightly more apparent towards the left-hand corner of the bottom edge, with some associated tiny spots of loss. No restoration is visible under ultra-violet light.
