Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is much warmer, with the paper tone tending more towards pale cream in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is an artist's pinhole at the top left corner tip, and one towards the bottom left-hand corner. There are a few extremely light handling creases in the lower section of the right-hand edge and a further, deeper handling crease to the upper centre of the composition. There are a few pin-sized spots of foxing scattered in places throughout the composition, notably two between the blue paint and the signature. There is light undulation in places along the left edge and towards the centre of the top edge. There is one very light, minute media accretion below the green signature, and two between the green and blue shapes towards the bottom right-hand corner section.
