Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is much softer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to the corner tips and canvas draw in a few places throughout. There are several drying cracks in places throughout, some with raised edges and some with associated paint loss, notably along the extreme right-hand edge. There is an area of loss to the centre of the left-hand section of the extreme bottom edge, visible in the catalogue illustration. There is a small patch of paint shrinkage in the light-grey area towards the centre of the bottom edge. The surface is uneven throughout, original to the work's execution. No restoration is visible under ultra-violet light.
