Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are tiny hairline cracks and a few minute specks of loss scattered throughout the composition, only visible upon very close inspection. There are two tiny cracks with associated loss to the centre and lower centre of the left edge. There are very faint handling marks along the top edge and a tiny rub mark to the centre of the top edge. There is a minute paint loss towards the centre of the right edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
