Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer and richer in the original with the central white form tending more towards cream and the background more towards light beige.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear in places along all four edges and all four corners. There are faint handling marks and very light discolouration along the left and right hand edges. There are light spots of media accretion in places to the left half of the composition and towards the centre right of the bottom edge. There are some faint scattered rub marks throughout the composition. There is a horizontal pulled thread at the right edge towards the centre of the bottom right hand quadrant. There is slight canvas draw to the top right and bottom left hand corners. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
