Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is frame rubbing and wear to all four corners and in places along all four extreme edges. There are hairline tension cracks that run intermittently along the extreme left and right turnover edges. There is a tiny spot of paint loss to the left side of the top extreme edge. There are three extremely light stains along the top edge, only visible under very close inspection. There are few scattered light rub marks throughout, the majority to the left side of the work. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
