Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are some light rub marks from the frame in places along the extreme edges. There are a few fine hairline cracks in some of the recesses and a few small spots of loss, notably below the monkey's right foot. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
