Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the background tends more towards a deep fuchsia pink in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a tiny media accretion to the centre right of the top edge. There is a faint vertical rub mark to the bottom of the figure's hair adjacent to the bottom right hand corner. There are a few extremely faint handling marks to the left and right sides of the top edge and to the upper part of the right edge. There are faint intermittent stretcher marks to the top and bottom edges and the canvas is slightly slack, There is a tiny spot of irregular pigment which floresces white under ultra-violet light to the right of the figure's jaw.
