Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is deeper and richer with the grey green in the top right corner tending more towards forest green and the purple to navy blue in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is some slight wearing with a few small associated losses to places on the left extreme edge, to the extreme corner tips, to the left side of the top extreme edge and in places to the lower extreme edge. There is some very slight characteristic blooming to the thicker strokes of green pigment in the top right quadrant, inherent to the artist's choice of media. No restorartion is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
