The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original. The blue in the centre of the composition is deeper and richer and the red tends more towards a blood orange in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There is very minor wear to the lower right corner tip. There is a very faint horizontal rub mark on the bottom edge approximately 25cm. from the lower right corner tip. There is very minor canvas draw to the lower right corner of the inset canvas. There is a tiny artist's pin hole in the upper left and upper right corners of the inset canvas. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
