Sale: Germann Auktionshaus, Zürich, Gemälde, Grafik, Druckgrafik, Skulpturen, 2 December 1994, Lot 107
Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original with the pastel mauve tending more towards dark lilac and the yellow towards a mustard yellow.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is minor wear to the top and bottom right corners of the composition. There are some intermittent stable hairline tension cracks along all four edges and corners of the composition. There is a small 3cm rub mark running from the bottom right extreme edge. There are two minute media accretions: one above the second 'e' of 'emergency' and the other above the first left window of the plane. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet.
